Ultimate Keto Chocolate Frosty

136 ratings

This dessert is rich, decadent, and guaranteed to satisfy that chocolate craving! Not only is this dessert tasty, but it is also sugar-free, gluten-free, and vegetarian. It is a family-friendly treat that both kids and adults can enjoy.

What are some variations to this recipe?

This recipe is so versatile that you can create many flavors out of it. You can add a little bit of instant coffee to get a mocha-flavored Keto frosty or a little bit of sugar-free caramel syrup for another layer of flavor. You can also add peanut butter, frozen cherries, or peppermint extract for a perfect pairing.

What is the best chocolate to use for this Keto treat?

To limit the number of carbs and keep this recipe Keto-friendly, we are using cocoa powder. While you can use a sugar-free chocolate bar to make this Keto frosty, it usually contains more carbs. Using a chocolate bar will also increase the preparation time since you must melt it.

Can you prepare this Keto chocolate frosty beforehand?

In fact, it is better to prepare this low-carb chocolate mousse a few hours before serving it. While you can enjoy it as soon as it's ready, refrigerating it intensifies the flavors and improves texture. This Keto dessert is best eaten within a day but will last in your fridge for 3-4 days

So easy to make pumpkin pie version- add a canned pumpkin w/o sugar to mixture. I also added nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon. Got really good feedback

It does taste good. But as the other commentator said I experienced throat burn as well. I guess these sweeteners are better used in moderation doesn’t seem healthy.

Was good, but the consistency was more like chocolate whipping cream that you’d put on a cake.

Way too sweet I had to look back at the recipe to make sure I didn’t mistake 16g of sugar for 60g.😂 The swerve in the recipe is way too much, I suggest you cut it down by more than half. I blended mine with ice cubes and intentionally left some ice pieces for a bit of crunch and omg. Even if I decide to leave keto, I’ll still substitute this recipe for ice cream. It was yummyyy!!!

I always use about half of the sweetner in every recipe or too sweet!

Love this. Mine was more of the consistency of pudding. I used Swerve for the sweetner.

There are 640 cal in 3/4 of a cup of heavy cream. The macros are way off. Craziness..

If you would actually read all the information....the recipe makes two servings however the nutrition facts are per serving. Everything is correct.

Mine says 1 serving uses only 3/8ths of a cup of heavy cream and the macros say the recipe will be 323 calories which is still pretty high in calories, but only 3 net carbs…and dessert is necessary after dinner in my opinion, so I’ll save those calories for it!

I have read that you should be careful with artificial sweeteners and maybe take the net value to half of the carb value not completely erase it.

This recipe says it makes two servings. 640/2=320. This is correct per serving.

Sugar alcohols contribute to the total carbs number but do not count towards net carbs.
