Keto Coffee Protein Shake
Protein is essential on the Keto diet, so finding ways to incorporate protein several times a day is critical. Enter this delicious, icy cold BULLETPROOF® coffee protein shake. Full of healthy and filling fats, energizing coffee, and protein powder.
What kind of protein powder can you use?
You can't use any type of protein powder for this recipe because many brands are high in carbs. A quick search will give you a long list of Keto-friendly brands for you to try. As for flavoring, any low-carb protein powder in the flavors of coffee, chocolate, or vanilla will work.
How many grams of protein is in each serving?
Depending on the brand of protein powder you're using, it should yield about 20 grams of protein.
Can you add more fats to this recipe?
Yes, you can add as much additional fat as your macros will allow, especially if you are trying to bulk. Drinking your fats will significantly help you reach your higher calorie goals. The only fat you may want to limit is BULLETPROOF® Brain Octane Oil (MCT Oil), as it can cause digestive issues, so add coconut oil or more butter.
What kind of coffee can you use for this Keto recipe?
You can use freshly brewed coffee, espresso, or instant coffee dissolved in hot water.
