Keto Hot Turkey And Bacon Sandwiches

A meaty, hot sandwich can really hit the spot! You’ll definitely squash any protein cravings, but your fat ratio won’t go out of whack thanks to the Carb Manager Cloud Bread, smears of mayonnaise, and toasting the cloud bread in butter before piling it with all the other ingredients. A little gooey cheese to hold everything together really tops these sandwiches off!

  • Butter

    ¼ cup, shredded

  • Step 1

    Start with 4 pieces of prepared Carb Manager Cloud Bread ready to go. Melt 1 tsp of the butter in a skillet on low heat. Then toast 2 pieces of the cloud bread in the butter. This shouldn’t take very long - no more than 30 seconds. Repeat this process with the last 2 pieces of cloud bread. Lay all 4 pieces of toasted cloud bread on a plate, and spread the mayo evenly over 2 pieces.

    Arrange the spinach on the two pieces of bread with mayo. These will serve as the bottoms of the 2 sandwiches.

    Lay down the turkey on a flat surface and roughly slice it into strips for easy heating later.

    Using the same skillet as before, cook th pieces of bacon over high heat. Cook to a crisp, and transfer the bacon to the side somewhere to cool slightly.

    Keep the skillet with the bacon grease on a medium heat on the stove. Toss the sliced turkey in the hot bacon grease and cook until the turkey is hot with slightly crispy edges.

    At this point, you may discard and excess bacon grease. Transfer the cooked turkey in even portions on top of the spinach. Quickly sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the hot turkey. The cheese will half-melt, acting as a binder to help keep all your sandwich ingredients from falling while eating.

    Chop or break up the bacon into pieces, and arrange them over the cheese on both sandwiches.

    Place the bare pieces of cloud bread on top of your sandwiches and enjoy!
