  • Step 1

Preheat an oven to 350 degrees and line a sheet tray with parchment paper. Slice cheddar cheese slices into 4 triangles each and arrange them on your sheet tray. Bake the slices for up to 10 minutes until the triangles completely melt, bubble, and turn a dark orange. The triangles should feel pretty firm and crisp when removed from the oven. If the centers still seem flexible and tender, return to the oven until crisp.

  • Step 2

Once done, let the triangles cool for a few minutes until you can touch them. Then, transfer the cheese triangles to a paper towel and soak up the excess grease. Once the triangles have fully cooled, add them to a large ziploc bag with the ranch dressing powder and shake until your triangles are coated.

These were great! The baking time was much, much longer to get them perfectly crisp. Probably double. I went in, maybe 2-3 times to blot the grease and flipped them half way. I didn't bother putting them in a bag, I just shook the seasoning directly on them, flipped them and shook some more on them. My husband and I couldn't stop eating them!
