Scallions
8 medium - 4 1/8" long
Bacon
4 slice - 6" long
Garlic
1 clove
Olive Oil
1 tablespoon
Lemon Peel Or Zest Raw
1 tsp
Parmesan Cheese
1 tablespoon, grated
Salt, Sea Salt
¼ teaspoon
Black Pepper
⅛ teaspoon

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.Step 2
Bunch the scallions together in pairs so you have four lots of two.Step 3
Wrap one strip of bacon tightly around each pair of scallions. Arrange the bacon wrapped scallions across a shallow oven tray.Step 4
Crush the garlic and sprinkle over the scallions along with the lemon zest, parmesan, salt and pepper.Step 5
Transfer to the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes or until the scallions are tender and the bacon is crisp and golden.
