Keto Sweet Pan-Fried Radishes and Pecans
These delicious pan-fried radishes make a great sweet and savory veggie side dish. Our low carb recipe is prepared with tender radishes, crunchy pecans, creamy butter, and a hint of low carb maple-flavored syrup. This makes a delicious side option perfect for serving alongside Sunday lunch or grilled pork chops.
Can I Make This Vegan?
We have pan-fried our radishes in a tablespoon of butter for added fats and flavor. If you would like to make the recipe vegan, you can simply swap the butter for coconut oil in the same quantities. Please be sure to adjust your macros to account for any changes made to the original recipe.
Can I Use a Different Sweetener?
We have added a low carb maple-flavored syrup to the radishes to add sweetness and caramelization to the vegetables. You can use any low carb syrup you prefer or an alternative low carb sweetener if desired. We would recommend either stevia drops or a powdered sweetener that will dissolve into the butter, adjusting quantities to taste. Avoid using granulated sweeteners that will not dissolve when cooked.

Pan-fry the radishes for 7-10 minutes, occasionally turning, until fork-tender and golden. Drizzle over the maple-flavored syrup and stir to combine, coating the radishes.Step 3
Add the pecans to the skillet and lower the heat a little. Continue to pan-fry gently for a minute or two more until the pecans are toasted and the radishes are golden and caramelized at the edges. Serve hot.
