Keto Jumbo Shrimp with Harissa Yogurt Dip
This Keto snack recipe is quick and easy to prepare and perfect for sharing. Our low carb shrimp and dip is prepared with jumbo shrimp, ground cumin, smoky paprika, black pepper, a touch of lemon juice, creamy natural yogurt, earthy tahini and spicy harissa paste. This makes a great Keto-friendly starter or snack and would be an excellent party food!
What is Harissa Paste?
Harissa is a North African paste consisting of blended red chili, garlic and lemon juice. There are many variations on the paste, which consist of alternative seasonings, spices and occasionally rose petals. Harissa only needs to be used in small quantities, and it makes a delicious addition to sauces, dressings, dips and stews. Perfect for adding a little spice to your meals.
What is Tahini?
Tahini is a thick paste, similar to nut butter, but prepared with blended sesame seeds. It is a common ingredient in Middle Eastern cuisine and can be added to both sweet and savory dishes. This is a great option for replacing nut butter if you are avoiding nuts in your diet but can tolerate seeds. It also makes a great binding ingredient for protein balls and veggie meatballs.
