This BULLETPROOF® green tea makes a great alternative to your morning coffee. Loaded with nourishing, health-promoting properties and a helping of healthful fats, this is a great way to start your day. This Keto tea recipe takes a couple of minutes to prepare with 4 ingredients only.
What ingredients make up this Keto green tea?
As green tea can be quite bitter and an acquired taste, we have sweetened ours with a little maple-flavored syrup. You can omit this if preferred, or swap for your favorite low-carb sweetener. The tea is also blended with a hint of zesty lemon and creamy coconut oil for your dose of healthy fats.
What can you replace coconut oil with?
We have opted for creamy coconut oil in our BULLETPROOF green tea. However, this can be swapped for BULLETPROOF® Brain Octane Oil (MCT oil) if preferred.
What sweetener can you use in this recipe?
Instead of the maple-flavored syrup, you can simply use liquid stevia. however, you can still flavor this green tea. Some great low-carb options include cinnamon powder, ginger, or fresh mint leaves.

Step 1
Prepare your green tea by adding the tea bag to a large mug with 1.5 cups of boiling water. Leave to infuse for 2-3 minutes. Remove the teabag from the mug and discard.Step 2
Now you can either transfer the tea to a blender, or if you have a milk frother, leave the tea in the mug. Add the syrup, lemon juice and coconut oil to the mug or blender. Allow the oil to melt into the hot tea.Step 3
Use the milk frother or blender to blitz the ingredients together. Blend until well combined and foamy on top. Serve immediately.
