Ingredients
Cauliflower
1 medium head
Red Onions
1 small
Parmesan Cheese
1 tablespoon
Butter
2 tablespoon
Cream Cheese
10.5 ounce
Cheddar Cheese
⅔ cup, diced
Spices Nutmeg Ground
⅛ tsp
Salt
¼ teaspoon
Black Pepper
⅛ tsp
Recipe Steps

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 390 degrees Fahrenheit.Step 2
Place the cauliflower in a large saucepan. Cover with water and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer for 7-8 minutes until tender, but not too soft.Step 3
Drain the cauliflower and transfer to an oven proof dish.Step 4
Heat the butter in a large saucepan over a medium heat and add the onions. Fry gently until soft.Step 5
Add the cream cheese and 1/3 cup of grated cheddar to the pan. Stir until melted and fully combined. Stir in the nutmeg and season well.Step 6
Spoon the cheese sauce over the cooked cauliflower and sprinkle over the remaining grated cheddar and parmesan. Season with a little pepper.Step 7
Transfer to the oven to bake for 18-20 minutes until golden and bubbling.

Great idea as I do not really need the fresh onion flavor. Assuming you probably did a Tablespoon of dried??

Whilst this dish is delicious, it does contain carb bombs. However, eating them once in a blue moon will be just fine for me, this is a way of life not some kind of fad. I’ll be making it again that’s for sure.

I haven’t tried this yet, but am curious why the carbs are so much higher? I didn’t see anything that I thought had higher carbs. It looks delicious!

Absolutely delicious! Top it over ground meat for a complete meal. I also sauteed till crisp two slices of bacon cut into small pieces and mixed in with the 1/3 of cheddar topping. My husband loved it! Had to make sure we didnt over eat it.
