Keto Bacon Wrapped Shrimp Kebabs
Make this a part of your main meal, paired with a low carb side dish. Jumbo shrimp are marinated in a blend that’s a little spicy with garlic and lemon. Wrapping the shrimp in bacon ensures the shrimp don’t dry out in your oven and eliminates the need for additional salt.

Step 1
Peel and devein your shrimp. Pat each piece dry with a paper towel. In a bowl, mix the shrimp with all the ingredients except the bacon. Wrap the bowl and marinate in your refrigerator for 1 hour.Step 2
When you’re ready to cook the kebabs, preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Slice each strip of bacon in half to have short, wide strips. Gently wrap each shrimp in a cut piece of bacon, and slide it onto a skewer. Make sure to pierce both the bacon and shrimp with the skewer so nothing falls off. Arrange 4 bacon wrapped shrimp per skewer.Step 3
Place a baking rack over a sheet tray. Place the skewers over the baking rack. Bake the kebabs for 30 minutes, no flipping or rotating.

8 lg shrimp are approx 4oz shrimp which is 19gr protein.... plus 4 slices of bacon is 14 gr protein. Recipe states 18.6gr total for two skewers. What am I doing wrong?

The shrimp was great! I was worried it would be too spicy because I usually liked a scampi style shrimp but the bacon really balanced out the spice! Thank you for this recipe! Will make this again!

When do you use the olive oil? It says "mix the shrimp with all the ingredients except the olive oil" and then never tells you what to do with the olive oil.. Did I read it wrong?

Thank you for alerting us to this error! This step should say "except the bacon." This correction has been made.

What is the olive oil for?
recipewriter 5 years ago
The olive oil adds healthy fats to this dish as well as marinates the shrimp.
