Keto Pad Thai Sauce
This pad thai sauce is a really easy Keto friendly Thai food recipe you can whip up to bring flavor to just about anything. Make the sauce in 10 minutes or less, then cook it with protein, Keto noodles, or vegetables. Pad thai sauce is a simple brown sauce that adds lots of savory flavor and saltiness to a dish. Although it’s generally tossed with pad thai noodles, you can really use it in all of your cooking. Follow this recipe for instructions on an easy way to cook the sauce with noodles. You can read the recipe suggestions for other ways to use the sauce too.
Storage
Stop cooking the sauce after step 2 in the recipe. Store the liquid pad thai sauce in a jar and seal it airtight. Store the jar of pad thai sauce in your refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. When you want to use it, simply pour out the amount you want into your cooking. Follow step 3 for simple cooking instructions.
Ingredients for cooking in the sauce
This Keto pad thai sauce goes with just about everything! It will taste best with chicken and shrimp, but it can be cooked with beef or pork too. If you don’t want to cook the sauce with noodles, choose a medley of mixed low-carb vegetables. You can also marinate tofu in the sauce before you finish cooking it.
Shirataki noodle preparation
If you do want to cook shirataki noodles with your pad thai sauce, make sure to drain the noodles of any water in their packaging. Cook the drained noodles in a pan on the stove on high heat to evaporate excess water. Occasionally stir the noodles to help them dry out so they don’t burn or brown. Then, you can finish cooking them in the pad thai sauce while it thickens.

Step 1
Combine soy sauce, water, fish sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, chili sauce, and brown sugar substitute in a small saucepan. Begin heating the ingredients on the stove until they just start to simmer. Don’t overheat the saucepan.Step 2
Whisk peanut butter into the sauce. Once the peanut butter is broken up, the sauce will thicken slightly. Then, take it off the heat right away. It will still be in a fairly liquid state.Step 3
Now grab whatever you are cooking with your pad thai sauce. In this case, it’s shirataki noodles, which are not included in the ingredients. Cook your ingredients in a pan or pot, then add the pad thai sauce to the ingredients while the heat is still hot. The sauce will reduce quickly and thicken around your ingredients.
