Step 1
Heat water on the stovetop. Once boiled, remove from the heat and add the tea bags. Allow it to steep for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags.Step 2
Melt the butter in a microwave. Add the butter, maple-flavored syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves to a bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until thoroughly combined.Step 3
Stir the butter mixture into the warm tea. Add the rum and mix well. The butter mixture should be completely dissolved.Step 4
Transfer to serving cups. Optionally, sprinkle some more cinnamon on top. Serve warm.
