Olive Oil

Garlic

Lemon Juice, Fresh
½ each - juice from one lemon
Salt, Sea Salt
¼ teaspoon
Black Pepper

Baby Romaine Lettuce
1 x 1 small lettuce

Slice the lettuce in half lengthways ensuring to keep the base intact.Step 2
Combine the oil, lemon juice and garlic in a small mixing bowl.Step 3
Preheat the broiler to medium and brush the lettuce liberally on both sides with the dressing. Season with salt and pepper.Step 4
Transfer to the broiler and cook for 3-4 minutes on both sides until tender throughout and slightly charred.

This was excellent. My broiler did not have a medium setting and it cooked nicely on high for five minutes on each side.
