Keto French Press Pour Over Butter Coffee

If you own a French press, you are in a great position to serve a group or a significant other your Keto BULLETPROOF® coffee. The other great thing about a French press is you can determine the strength of your coffee. Steep for just 5 minutes for a classic cup of joe. You can steep for longer for a darker brew. For BULLETPROOF® coffee, you may want to choose a darker cup of coffee. While it may taste more acidic, the nutty aroma of coffee pairs together very well with full-fat butter. A rich dairy product makes a single cup of coffee more satiating and it feels like it’s part of your meal, not just a beverage on the side.

What are some variations to this recipe?

Find plain Keto butter coffee a little boring lately? You can very easily change up the flavors of your morning beverage. Use a flavored coffee ground, such as hazelnut or french vanilla, to change things up. Just make sure to check the ground don’t have sugar added to them. There are also sugar-free Keto flavored syrups that can be purchased in grocery stores or online. In butter coffee, you can sub coconut oil for a vegan option or add a branded Keto amino acid.

What can you replace the almond milk with?

Instead of almond milk, switch it out for coconut milk or oat milk. Coconut milk adds yummy flavor and oat milk is adored for its thick, creamy texture.

How do you make butter coffee less oily?

The fastest way to enjoy butter coffee is to stir the butter directly into your hot coffee and enjoy it. However, for coffee-sippers, you’ll find your coffee and butter have separated before you’re halfway through the cup. One way to emulsify butter is to use a stand blender or immersion blender. If you don’t feel like breaking out an entire appliance for a cup of coffee, try one of these other ways. Pour your coffee with butter melted inside back and forth between two cups until blended to your liking. You can also transfer the coffee and butter to a cocktail shaker and shake until blended. If you have another quick and easy way to mix butter coffee, let the other users know in the comments!

Me, tomorrow, but without almond milk because almonds taste like dirt.

Well Michael..., I’m relatively new to this journey but, from what I’ve read on the subject, it’s supposed to be good? Having not travelled down that road yet, I can’t speak to the validity of that thought process. Tell you what though, brother; guve ‘er a shot and let me know what you think and I’ll check back regularly. If I have a chance to try it first, I’ll certainly let you know my un-biased opinion. Cheers!
