Is avocado a superfood?

Avocados are so trendy and popular not just because they taste good, but because they’re extremely healthy for you too! Avocado has monounsaturated fat, which is good for your heart health and fights bad cholesterol. The fruit is also rich in potassium, and most of the carbohydrates are made up of fiber. You could certainly call avocados a superfood.

What are superfoods?

Superfoods are a category of foods that are rich and dense in nutrients. That’s why avocados fit that category. Other Keto superfoods might include salmon, sunflower or pumpkin seeds, and extra virgin olive oil.

Is bacon healthy on Keto?

Your body needs a variety of fats, both saturated and unsaturated, both plant and animal. Make this bacon and avocado scrambled eggs once or twice for breakfast this week.

Love it!!! I don't use any salt or olive oil, I think that the bacon has more enough salt and fat. taste great

What is enough oil? The point is if you are on Keto diet you must accent the fat intake. The brilliance of this recipe is that the complete 1.5 tablespoon oil is good mixed with the food for full 1.5 intake

I’m confused it says it’s 2 servings but I halted the recipe. Are the 2 servings adding up to 329 calories and 2 carbs or 1 serving out of the 2. If that makes sense.

Yes confusing! But you must change serving size from 2 to 1 then the recipe will change. One serving equals to 148.8 serving weight.

I added a sprinkle of cheese, dash of Cheyenne red pepper, dash of red hot sauce, and turkey bacon.

Is the recipe saying to keep the Bacon fat in the pan and cook it with the egg? Including the tablespoon of olive oil?

A very sad state of affairs when people require a recipe to make scrambled eggs. For goodness sake, start teaching your children the basics of cooking fresh food so they can avoid the obesity crisis caused by fast food and ready meals. As a Biochemist I worked on a research regarding Diabetes and Diet ..... The main group with hideous issues all lived on a processed diet.

Wow…you have no idea who looks at these! Who cares, it’s why it’s called recipe … to follow! Guess your mom didn’t teach you compassion, understanding and respect towards others 🤨 and btw my 10 yr old daughter loves to look online for recipes and wants to do it on her own. So every step is important for her! Damn proud of her

I grew up in South Africa and all of my male friends can barbecue like Michelin star chefs but wouldn’t be able to scramble an egg. A skill is only easy once it’s been learned.

The recipes are to help those who were not taught as children or didn't care to learn. My mother was afraid I'd get hurt in the kitchen, so she would chase me out. I'm just now learning to cook and am so grateful - even for recipes that seem simple to others. Yes, sad state of affairs that I am just now learning, but I need to start somewhere - glad someone is out there to help....

We are not all perfect and since you are why do you need to even look at these recipes. The way you speak of people is a sad state of affairs 😞
