Easy Keto Bacon and Broccoli Skillet
If you're looking for Keto recipes for beginners that are easy to make and loaded with flavors, try this fantastic, easy Keto Bacon and Broccoli Skillet. It takes about 35 minutes to prepare, and it's a great side option for the entire family, whether on Keto or not. This lovely dish is also loaded with healthy fats, fiber, and other essential nutrients. Serve with some shredded cheddar and fresh parsley. Enjoy!
What type of cheddar to use?
We used sharp cheddar for this recipe, but any type of cheddar would work perfectly. You can also substitute cheddar with shredded parmesan for a different but equally delicious flavor.
Can I substitute broccoli in this recipe?
Yes! You can substitute the broccoli with the same amount of cauliflower for almost equal results.
How do you customize this recipe?
You can easily customize this recipe by adding some other veggies of your choice (great options would be chopped asparagus, halved Brussels sprouts, red or green peppers, or cauliflower). You can try various types of cheese or add some spices of your choice. You can also sprinkle the prepared dish with some extra cheese and put it in the oven for 5-6 minutes (or until the cheese melts).
Does this dish freeze well?
Although we recommend serving this fantastic Keto Bacon and Broccoli skillet while fresh and warm, you can freeze the leftovers for a few weeks. Gently thaw in the oven or a stovetop when ready to serve (you can add some extra cheese when you reheat it). Enjoy!
