Keto Air Fryer Gochujang Pork Chops

These fantastic Keto air fryer pork chops should definitely be on your menu this week! They are coated with delicious gochujang paste, tamari, and spices for a mind-blowing flavor! This easy recipe takes about 30 minutes to prepare and will become one of your favorite Keto air fryer recipes. It can be served as it is or paired with your favorite Keto side (we recommend some Asian salad or cauliflower rice). These lovely Keto air fryer gochujang pork chops are best when served immediately while fresh and warm. Enjoy!

What is gochujang paste?

This delicious and distinctive paste is a type of Korean red chili paste traditionally added to enhance the flavor of various sauces and marinades. It has a sweet, salty, and spicy flavor - perfect for meat recipes. Its unique flavor is quite challenging to replace, so unfortunately, there is no substitute for a traditional gochujang.

How to store the leftovers?

Store the leftover chops in airtight containers and refrigerate for 3-5 days. Gently reheat in the oven or your air fryer when ready to serve.

  • Step 1

Place the bone-in pork chops into a ziploc bag. In a small mixing bowl, combine the sesame seed oil, Gochugaru flakes, gochujang, paprika, granulated garlic, onion powder, kosher salt, and tamari. Mix the sauce well, then pour it over the pork in the bag.
    Step 1
  • Step 2

Massage the bag all over until the pork is very well coated. Allow the meat to marinate in the fridge for at least 2-3 hours or overnight. Be sure to flip the bag over once so the marinade can redistribute.
    Step 2
  • Step 3

Place the pork chops into the air fryer, two at a time. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and set the timer for 13-15 minutes. Note that the first batch of chops will take closer to 15 minutes if the air fryer is not preheated.
    Step 3
  • Step 4

The pork chops are done when their internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) in the thickest part of the pork chop. Repeat with the remaining chops. Serve immediately!
    Step 4
  • Step 5

Feel free to slice the meat off the bones prior to serving, or you can serve the chops with a steak knife and enjoy them at the dinner table. Serve with a Keto side like an Asian salad or cauliflower rice.
