This was a nice surprise. Cooked per the recipe. Family liked it a lot. Since they aren’t doing keto they used crunchy tostadas as their base.

Really nice - chilli ahead of the paprika for me & chicken stock made it so tasty!

I like a little more flavor, so I added Flavor God’s chipotle seasoning and that really elevated it.

I didn’t add the broth. You don’t need it. I just let the cabbage cook down on its own. I prefer it that way. Also, I didn’t add the cheese. It was tasty without it and I didn’t need extra fat.

You could also use beef bacon it seems to have more of a pork like texture and taste. Without the pig! My husband and doesn't eat pork so we eat turkey bacon or beef bacon.

Loved it! Fast and convenient, and so good! Instead of bacon I used Italian smoked ham. This dish will become one of my quick dinner go-to meals.
