Keto Egg Fast Egg and Cheese Waffles

11 ratings

This Keto Egg Fast waffle recipe is quick and easy. This recipe would be perfect for breakfast, brunch, or even lunch! The ingredients are simply shredded cheese, fresh eggs, and a pinch of salt blended. Then the batter is placed into a greased, small waffle iron and cooked until puffed and golden brown. These waffles are perfect for freezing and keeping on hand for a quick breakfast or snack. Feel free to swap out the shredded mozzarella cheese for other flavorful cheeses like Pepper Jack, Colby Jack, or sharp cheddar!

What toppings can I use on these waffles?

Since the Egg Fast diet is limited, feel free to top these with more softened butter or hot sauce (or both!).

How can I reheat frozen waffles?

If you decide to make extra waffles and freeze them, reheat them in an air fryer or a toaster until warmed and crispy.

Really good and easy to make. I usually add some cinnamon, stevia, and drizzle a serving of sugar free maple syrup on top with butter. Perfect for a low carb breakfast.

It's a cheese omelet. I like cheese omlets but it's easier in a frying pan

I can’t try this recipe because I am dairy intolerant but I do have an important comment. Recipe says serving size is 1 piece and it says the batch makes 4 pieces. Therefore it makes 4 servings. 1 piece is 1.4 net carbs and if you eat the whole recipe 4 pieces you would have 5.6 net carbs. Hope this clarifies your questions on size of serving

The actual recipe for Chaffles also includes 1/4 cup of Almond Flour, and 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder.

There is no an actual recipe for chaffles, there are lot and lots of different recipes. Moreover, it is better not to add too many ingredients, the flour and powder make no big difference in the resulting chaffle :)

Chaffles contain almond flour which is not egg fast friendly.

There are a ton of Chaffee recipes, this is just one of many versions. Some may be allergic to those added ingredients.

Can you fry these if you don’t have a waffle iron? No raising agent?

I saw a post that asked if one serving was one mini waffle or all 4 and the reply was only one mini waffle. However, the directions side it makes 4 pieces, and the serving size said that 4 pieces are 1 serving. so, I'm confused. according to the directions 1 serving, is 4 pieces. So? I'm new at this, just wanted to be sure.

If you add up the calories from the total ingredients of this recipe, approximately 800, you'll see 0ne serving is only 1/4 of the recipe or 197 calories.

Hello Amanda! Thank you for your comment. Yes, the recipe makes 4 pieces. The serving size is 1 piece. The reason we write the recipes like this is so you can control the number of servings you want to eat based on your personal calorie intake. For myself, I am on a bulking diet to gain muscle, so I might log 3 waffles at a time. By having the recipe state 1 serving, you can adjust your food log to your needs!

Is the serving one mini waffle or all 4 mini waffles?
