Keto Crab Rangoon Fat Bomb

15 ratings

Fat bombs are an important element of the keto diet. If you need a snack, but you don’t want anything too filling, a fat bomb will provide you with the energy you need in a dense portion! Since most fat bombs use cream cheese as the main ingredient, what would go best with it? How about some tender crab for a crab rangoon inspired bite? You won’t even miss the fried wontons!

Since there is no cooking involved does that mean the canned crab used will be raw???

Can crab is cooked. Just like canned tuna or canned salmon.

Has anyone tried frying these with avocado oil and some kind of egg wash and cheese crumbs?

Not a fan. Good as a dip, but not to eat alone.

Are these cooked? How? Or just eaten cold?

I LOVE Crab Rangoon. I will never NOT eat Crab Rangoon. I was really hoping these would satisfy my Crab Rangoon cravings and sadly, these fell short. I made em, so I'll eat them- but I will NOT be making these again.

I used shrimp instead of crab and added sweetener. SO GOOD!

These taste amazing. The only tweak I did was, I added about a teaspoon of raw chives. I Will be making these again !

I absolutely love crab Rangoon... but this recipe did not satisfy. As a stand alone fat bomb it was a bomb 💣. I did smoosh some onto celery and ate it... it was tasty that way.

These are great! My local Chinese restaurant serves crab rangoon a little on the sweet side so I added a tbsp of pyure stevia. Very tasty!
