Keto Easy Honey Garlic Shrimp
Use this super easy Keto Chinese shrimp recipe to add a little protein to your meals or low-carb meal prep. Honey is what makes the shrimp taste so sweet, which can be consumed on the Keto diet in small quantities. It pairs perfectly with a little soy sauce and sesame oil for a sweet and savory combo. Don’t eat the shrimp plain! Add your hot honey garlic shrimp on top of zucchini noodle pasta or shirataki noodles. You can have the shrimp on a salad hot or cold. Make the shrimp your main course and choose one or two side dishes from the Carb Manager recipe library as well.
Where do I find brown sugar replacement?
Brown sugar replacements or substitutes can be found in the baking aisle of most chain grocery stores. If your grocery store has a gluten-free section, look there. Also, check where sugar and sweeteners are kept. The brown sugar substitute will be amongst other Keto sweeteners like erythritol.
Do I have to use honey?
The honey provides flavor and sweetness to the shrimp. You could substitute the honey with light agave. You could also omit the honey and sweeten the shrimp sauce with liquid stevia, but there will be no honey flavor of course.
Storage tips and use for leftovers
Keep leftover shrimp in an airtight container in your refrigerator for up to 3 days. You could add the shrimp easily to meal prep dishes halfway through the week. Put cold shrimp on salads or add the shrimp to any savory soups you might be making.

Cook the shrimp for just about 2 minutes per side or until just done. The shrimp will finish cooking once off the stove heat. Serve the shrimp with all the leftover glaze that developed in the pan.
