Keto Iced Chai Tea Latte
This Keto iced tea is deliciously warm and refreshing. The spices from the chai tea bags pair perfectly with the heavy cream and milk. This recipe is quick and easy to prepare and uses 5 ingredients only. You can steep the tea in advance and keep it in the fridge for up to a week, and add the heavy cream and almond milk right before serving.
What is chai tea latte?
Chai tea is a spiced tea blend popular in India. It consists of black tea, cardamom, cloves, ginger, cinnamon, and star anise. Milk is usually added to the tea after it has been steeped. This iced latte version uses a combination of heavy cream and almond milk for a creamier, more satiating version. It is served chilled over ice as opposed to authentic chai tea.
Can you adapt this recipe to a vegan diet?
Absolutely! Simply swap the heavy cream for coconut milk.
Is this beverage sweetened?
This Keto chai iced tea latte is unsweetened, but you can sweeten it to your preference. Some great sweetener options include liquid stevia drops, monk fruit blend, powdered erythritol, or powdered allulose.
Can you make this beverage hot?
Chai tea is usually served hot, but this isn't the best recipe to serve hot. Check out these 2 versions of hot chai tea on the CM app: Keto dirty chai tea latte and [recipe-link id=":ug:e2690c69592347519278e44d101737fe”] Keto chai latte[/recipe-link].

Soooo good! I recommend adding a touch of stevia or any other sugar substitute to add a bit of sweetness and bring out the chia flavor
