Keto Green Goddess Snack Dip
If you love a good salad but you’re in the mood for more of a snack, make this green goddess snack dip. You may have seen a trendy version of this recipe online, so Carb Manager has created this great version that can fit right into your macros. This plant-based Keto snack has tons of B vitamins, magnesium, and healthy fats. Crunchy cabbage, cucumber, and green onion are all dressed in a green goddess sauce you can make in just a few minutes in the blender. The sauce is bright green, packed with flavor, and fun to eat. Eat the dip with a Keto cracker or you can make your own cracker or chip from the Carb Manager recipe database. Other dipping items might include celery sticks, bell pepper sticks, or broccoli florets.
How long to marinate for
You’re not required to marinate the green goddess dip, and this time is not included in the recipe prep time. However, you can marinate the green goddess ingredients in your refrigerator for an hour or as long as overnight. The sauce will break down the proteins in the cabbage, making the dip super scoopable.
I’m allergic to nuts
If you’re allergic to nuts, don’t worry. Omit the walnuts from the recipe and substitute them with golden flax seeds. For every ounce of walnuts, use about 1 tablespoon of flax seeds in the recipe.
What is nutritional yeast?
Nutritional yeast is made from grown yeast (the good kind of bacteria), but it’s not alive. Unlike yeast that is used for making bread, this yeast won’t grow or “activate”. It’s full of a range of B vitamins. Just sprinkle some over your food to get all the benefits and cheesy flavor.
