Keto Superfood Smoothie
This filling smoothie is a cinch to whip up and has nutritious ingredients like turmeric and cacao. The fruit and veggies provide vitamins and fiber, while the collagen and almond butter provides protein. Enjoy this smoothie as a snack or meal on the go.
Is this smoothie refreshing?
To achieve the best cooling effect, use frozen veggies and fruits instead of fresh ones, and place the Keto plant-based milk and heavy cream in the freezer for 30 minutes before preparation. That ensures that the final product is cooling and hydrating.
What are the health benefits of turmeric?
What makes turmeric so powerful is its curcumin. It’s most known for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Taking anti-inflammatory spices and herbs may help your digestive health and keep your digestive tract regular.
Can you sweeten this smoothie?
Absolutely! If you like your smoothie sweeter, then you will probably need to add some kind of sweetener here. We suggest you use any calorie-free liquid sweetener of your choice, like stevia. If you use granulated or powdered sweeteners, they might not dissolve completely and sink to the bottom. The amount of sweetener you use depends on how sweet you like your smoothies.

Definitely the worst smoothie I have ever tasted, even after adding a few drops of stevia. 😬

This really wasn’t very good. I’m 3 years into keto and not at all a picky eater; my tastes can usually justify most things, but this just tasted like a broccoli smoothy (and I love broccoli). I added a few monk fruit drops, and it needed it, but it really wasn’t overly helpful. I didn’t have to choke this down or anything, it just wasn’t tasty. All that said, it’s kept me full for several hours. The ingredients are all great, just not tasty together. This one goes down and super, meh, for me.

I used spinach and kale instead of broccoli and cauliflower and almond milk instead of coconut milk, it wasn’t to bad, drinkable and took my hunger away.

It didn’t work for me. The contents of it for single person are incorrectly stated. It was just quarter or even less than a mug, therefore I added more and it threw the recipe apart.
