Keto Coffee Rubbed Minute Steaks
These quick and easy low carb steaks are seasoned with our Keto smokey coffee rub before being pan-fried until tender. The seasoned minute steaks are briefly cooked through before being sautéed in a flavorsome blend of melted butter, a little low carb syrup for sweetness and some extra coffee rub seasoning. These make a speedy yet tasty Keto dinner or lunch option when you are short on time.
What is Keto Coffee Rub?
Our low carb seasoned steaks have been coated in a flavorsome dry rub of coffee powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cinnamon, and cumin. What are Minute Steaks?
Minute steaks are thinly cut steaks that have been tenderized and require very little cooking time. Minute steak can be cut from various parts of the cow but is often sirloin or flank. These are a great budget-friendly option that can be cooked quickly and jazzed up with your favorite seasonings and flavorings.

Keto Smokey Coffee Rub

Extra virgin olive oil

Butter, unsalted
1 tbsp
Maple Flavored Syrup

Recipe Steps

Step 1
Drizzle the steaks with the olive oil and rub into the meat. Sprinkle 4 teaspoons of the coffee rub evenly over both sides of the steaks. Let the steaks sit in the rub and come to room temperature for a few minutes.Step 2
While the steaks are resting in the rub, add the syrup to a small bowl with the remaining coffee rub. Melt the butter and add to the bowl. Mix well to combine.Step 3
Heat a large skillet over a medium/high heat. Add two of the steaks and cook for 30 seconds - 1 minute on one side. Turn and cook for a further 30 seconds -1 minute on the second side.Step 4
Add half the coffee butter mixture to the skillet. Swirl the butter to coat the steaks and heat through for 30 seconds - 1 minute more, or until cooked through to preference. Remove the cooked steaks from the skillet and repeat with the remaining steaks. Serve with your preferred Keto sides and drizzle with the buttery pan juices.
