A trail mix combines small snacks like candy, pretzels, granola clusters, nuts, dried fruits, etc. Making a Keto trail mix is simple. You’ll need various high-fat options to satiate hunger and keep you in ketosis, and other tasty Low-Carb additions for your cravings. For the former, we went with almonds, cashews, and sunflower seeds, while for the latter, we opted for sugar-free dark chocolate, sugar-free milk chocolate, and freeze-dried strawberries. With this combo, you get 5g of carbs per serving.
How can you customize this trail mix?
This snack option is supposed to curb your candy cravings without steering away from your diet. You can swap the almonds and cashews with pecans, hazelnuts, walnuts, or macadamia nuts, and the sunflower seeds with pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, or coconut flakes. As for the fun ingredients, you can swap them for sugar-free white chocolate chips, candied pecans, or dried berries.
