Keto Chili Coffee Steaks

These keto steaks are marinated in a rich cocoa, coffee and chili rub then pan fried until juicy and tender.

These are a great option for something a bit different, served with a simple salad.

The problems with this recipe where posted a year ago, but I see no corrections or answers.. Not sure if I want to give this recipe a shot or not. Thinking it is meant to say dry coffee..? Maybe try instant coffee?

I used fresh ground coffee (dry) as the photo shows in the steps. There isn’t a lot of flavor and the coffee masks the flavor of the steak.

The ingredient list includes "coffee, prepared from grounds" (which implies liquid coffee). Step 1 includes the addition of the coffee along with the dry ingredients and says to "blend to a fine powder." "A fine powder" precludes anything liquid, so what form of coffee is intended here? Instant coffee granules, perhaps?
