Vietnamese Keto Pok Pok Wings
These delicious Keto Pok Pok wings are marinated in Vietnamese ingredients and oven-baked until crispy and golden, providing a low-carb twist on traditional Pok Pok wings. You can prepare these low-carb wings in under 40 minutes using a handful of staple Asian-inspired ingredients like fish sauce, lime, garlic, and cilantro. This recipe also includes erythritol to balance out the saltiness and acidity and for a touch of sweetness, but you can simply replace it with any other Keto-friendly sweetener you have on hand. You can serve these irresistible wings alongside other Keto Vietnamese recipes, or on their own.
What are Pok Pok wings?
Pok Pok wings are Vietnamese-style wings marinated in a sweet fish sauce marinade and then deep fried until crispy. This Keto version uses a low-carb, sugar-free marinade and is baked rather than fried. Nevertheless, these wings are just as delicious.
What type of chicken should you use for Keto diet recipes?
When preparing Keto-friendly recipes, always opt for high-quality organic meat to reap maximum nutrition. For this recipe, we are using pasture-raised chicken wings from a trusted source.
What is a serving size?
The serving size depends on your appetite and calorie requirements. Chicken wings are high in fat, thus more satiating than leaner chicken cuts. We are preparing this recipe for dinner, thus serving 10 wings per person. If preparing this meal for lunch or as a snack, 5 wings could be enough. Either way, we suggest preparing a large batch, serving some right away, and meal-prepping the rest.
