Keto Vegan Lettuce Wraps

A delicious way to eat meatless substitute is to enjoy it seasoned with coconut aminos, ginger, and garlic and wrapped in butter lettuce leaves. The meatless mixture is combined with crunchy, diced water chestnuts to give the entire dish a nice texture. It is crucial on a Keto Vegan diet to consume high protein yet keep the carb count low. You can achieve a lower carb count by using a low net carb meatless substitute and low carb vegetables. These lettuce wraps can be enjoyed with coconut aminos on the side to dip them in. Feel free to add sriracha or sambal to the lettuce wraps themselves or in the dipping sauce.

What kind of lettuce do I use?

You can use any lettuce available to you, but the best cup-shaped lettuce is butter lettuce.

What kind of meat substitute do I use?

Please use a vegan ground meat substitute with a very low net carb count so you can eat as much as you need to hit your protein goals.

How do I make the dipping sauce?

Simply add some coconut aminos to a small dish. You can add sriracha or sambal to it to spice it up. Feel free to use soy sauce instead of coconut aminos too.
