Keto Pepperjack Stuffed Burgers

Burgers stuffed with cheese are delectable to just about anyone! Pepperjack cheese adds just a little spice, and the melty center can get really addictive. This recipe leaves space for creativity, so you can add any additional toppings you want to your burger. Great toppings are lettuce, keto ketchup, mayonnaise, chopped jalapeno, or avocado.

Divide the beef mixture into 4 sections. Flatten 2 of the sections into patties about ¾-inch thick. Arrange the pepperjack cheese evenly over the center of each patty.

Flatten the last 2 sections of ground chuck to the same size and thickness as the previous two. Lay them over the cheese, and seal the ground beef patties together by pushing the beef together with your fingers.
    Step 3

In a large, shallow skillet, melt the butter over high heat. Place the stuffed patties in the pan. Cook the patties with the lid on for 10-15 minutes, flipping them over halfway through, to your preferred doneness.

This was really good. I went by the recipe. My concerns are the fat and protein amount for 1 burger. It can't be right.
