Keto Dirty Chai Tea Latte

Nothing says perfect afternoon or morning coffee like a dirty chai tea latte. What could make chai tea dirty? A little bit of black coffee. As a Keto non alcoholic drink recipe, you have the perfect blend of coffee and chai tea with your choice of almond milk, cashew milk, or coconut milk - just choose your favorite non-dairy option! No latte is complete without a whipped topping. That’s what makes this drink keto-friendly too! A heavy layer of whipped cream tops your dirty chai tea latte. Stick a reusable straw through the cream and stir it into your latte. Your tastebuds will thank you.

Is there a lot of caffeine in dirty chai lattes?

Since this recipe is made with coffee and chai tea, there is a regular amount of caffeine in the drink. Even though you’re only using half a cup of coffee for one serving, you’re also making the drink with chai tea, which is normally black tea. Expect about the same amount of caffeine as a regular cup of coffee.

Make the drink iced

Brew your tea and coffee the night before so you can chill them overnight in your refrigerator. The next morning, assemble the latte, then pour it over ice. Save the whipped cream for last to pile on top of the coffee. You can also blend the dirty chai latte with ice in your blender.

Extra coffee toppings

For a simple topping, add a sprinkle of cinnamon or a warm baking spice on top of your whipped cream. For sweetened whipped cream, add liquid stevia drops to the heavy whipping cream while you whip it. You could also blend sugar-free vanilla syrup right into your coffee as well.

Love the flavor, so rich and creamy. I don't whip the 2oz heavy cream, I just add it to the coffee for a luxurious latte. Sometimes I use 2 chai tea bags for a spicier flavor. Makes a great fat bomb with a caffeine kick.

So yummy! I didn’t have the 2 oz of hwc only 1T or 1/2 oz, but it was really yummy. I may have to make this my go to instead of just plain black coffee.
