  • Step 1

    Mince the garlic and finely dice the onion. Add to a mixing bowl along with the beef, pork, Parmesan, oregano, thyme, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1 teaspoon of chilli flakes, salt and pepper. Mix together well with your hands.

    Divide the mixture into 16 even meatballs. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over a medium/ high heat and cook until browned all over.

    Whilst the meatballs are browning, add the tomatoes, stock, balsamic, remaining chili flakes and paprika to a crockpot. Stir well to combine.

    Add the browned meatballs and stir into the sauce. Cook on low for four hours or until the meat is completely cooked through.

    I wonder if you baked them in a muffin tin that would work as well as browning them. To me that is time consuming

        Step 3 says to add balsamic but it's not in the ingredients
