Brussels Sprouts, Raw
3 cup, cut pieces
Unsalted Butter
1 tablespoon
Garlic
1 clove
Thyme, Fresh
1 tablespoon, chopped
White Onion
1 tablespoon, chopped
Vegetable Broth, Bouillon Or Consomme
½ cup
Heavy Cream
½ cup
Salt, Sea Salt
¼ teaspoon
Black Pepper

Step 1
Heat the butter in a large pan over a medium heat. Finely slice the garlic and add to the pan along with the onion and sweat until tender.Step 2
Trim and slice the sprouts in half and add to the pan along with the thyme and stir well.Step 3
Add the stock and bring to a simmer for 4 minutes until the sprouts are just tender.Step 4
Add in the heavy cream and season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine and simmer gently until thickened - about 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
