Best Slow Cooker Keto Beef Chili

9 ratings

This Keto slow cooker chili is hearty, warm, and absolutely delicious. The dish comprises rich minced beef, low-carb vegetables, and lots of flavorful spices. It is an easy recipe that takes just 10 minutes of active cooking and prepping, then the crockpot will do its thing, and you’ll end up with a decadent beef chili that melts in the mouth. We guarantee you this is one of the best Keto slow cooker chicken recipes out there.

Is chili Keto?

Traditional chili is not Keto-friendly because it is filled with beans, which are high in carbs. This beef chili, however, contains no beans. Moreover, the quantities of seasoning and vegetables are moderate to keep this meal Keto-friendly.

Is this recipe freezer-friendly?

Yes, it is! Keto slow cooker recipes that can also be frozen are perfect for busy nights or emergency dinners. You can make a double batch and freeze as many portions as you’d like. To thaw, place the beef chili container in the fridge overnight or in the microwave on the lowest power for a couple of minutes.

Do you have to use a slow cooker?

You don’t have to, but it sure makes it a lot easier. While the chili is cooking, you can run errands, finish some home chores, or create more meals for your Keto meal prep. If you don’t own a crockpot, you can use an instant pot or cook it in a Dutch oven on low for 2-3 hours.

Is browning the beef essential?

Browning the beef adds a deeper and richer flavor. If you are in a hurry, you can skip this step and add the ground beef raw with the other ingredients.

This is also Gluten-Free. Adjustments for Instant Pot: cook on Manual for 10 minutes, and natural release.

Wait what? I though tomatoes were g Higher In carbs than that. As well as onion. When even I chop a medium 🍅 for my salade it gives me at least 4-5 carbs

A whole tomato has about 3.3 net carbs. This is 1/2 a tomato divided by 4 servings.

I didn't have any beef broth so I substituted 50% Worschstershire and 50% soy sauce. It was delicious!

Worcestershire sous contains 1.1 carb per 5 ml, you put 60 ml = 13.2 carbs, plus soy sauce which is not keto friendly at all. What is the point, tho?

Flavor is good (I added some cayenne pepper). But, by the time it cooks down, the portion was tiny and there was very little juice.
