This is one of those easy Keto 5-ingredient recipes that are super simple to prepare yet packed with flavors. These delicious chicken thighs are coated with a zesty sauce and then baked until perfectly tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. This fantastic Keto 5-ingredient lunch will feed three people, but you can double the recipe to feed more. It's absolutely delicious when served hot directly from the oven, but they also taste great the next day! The recipe takes only 10 minutes of your actual work, and the oven does the rest!
Can you customize this recipe?
Absolutely! You can substitute the sauce with your favorite low-carb salsa and experiment with various spices such as cumin, chili, or garlic powder. You can also use a different type of meat, such as boneless chicken and turkey thighs or fillets (remember to adjust the baking time accordingly).
Alternative cooking methods
We prepared these chicken thighs in the oven, but they would also be great on a BBQ grill or in an air fryer. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you will probably need to cook them in batches so they are fried in a single layer in the basket. Air fry them for 25-30 minutes at 180°C (355°F).

Add the sauce, cayenne, paprika, and sweetener to a bowl. Mix well. Optionally, adjust the amount of cayenne according to your taste.Step 2
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a small baking dish with parchment paper or grease with some butter. Add the chicken thighs to the prepared baking dish.Step 3
Pour the sauce over the thighs, making sure to coat each well. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the foil and continue to bake for another 20 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.Step 4
Remove from the oven and transfer to serving plates. Optionally, garnish with some chopped cilantro. Serve immediately.
