Low Carb Dutch Baby
A great breakfast addition that is similar to pancakes without the hassle of making individual cakes! This is a pancake batter that is poured into a pan and baked all together. The presentation is stunning! Be sure to eat it right out of the oven while it is nicely puffed!

So is this entire recipe 1 serving?

I think it serves 8

Thanks for going to the trouble to share your recipe. I usually take interesting recipes and tweak them to suit my situation. This is a cool idea. I’d probably sub out a lighter calorie/carb flour and give it a try. Wouldn’t it be great if someone would make a shirataki flour? 😋

I have an old german recipe that I converted over to low carb. I make this same pancake but it is 1 serving and huge. 1/3 c Almond Flour, 1/2 c unsweetened coconut milk, 2 large eggs, 4 T butter, 2 T Splenda, squirt of lemon juice, 1 T Sugar Free Marmalaide/Jam. Just mix the flour, milk, eggs, and splenda together. Melt the butter in a cast iron pan. Pour batter into skillet and bake for 15-20 minutes in a preheated oven at 425 degrees. I like the tang of citrus so I add a squirt of lemon juice and slather 1 T of Sugar Free Marmalaide/Jam on top. You can change your topping to berries etc just make an adjustment in your macros. Macros for this are 425 calories, 39 grams fat, 4 grams carbs, 2 grams fiber, 2 net carbs, 15 grams protein, 1 gram sugar.

The batter seemed too thick! Check the measurements

Does flour mean your choice coconut or almond? Newbie and need help.

I would think so since regular flour isn't acceptable

Has anyone tried it with carbalose flour?

Flour! As an ingredient in Carb Manager!!?This has to be a typo error right!?

Exactly why I’m wondering. I put in gluten to be excluded too.

Who writes a recipe using flour as an ingredient for an app called CARB Manager?? Especially knowing that the overwhelming majority of people are doing keto and can't have flour at all? Ridiculous!

This says it’s made with flour? You can’t have flour on keto??

Flour has 42 grams of carbs in 1/2 cup. This recipe makes 8 servings! They must be tiny! I can’t believe this could be low carb.

I thought same thing, probably typo. I do one similar with coconut flour and almond flour and it’s delicious
