Best Keto Chocolate Cappuccino
This Keto chocolate cappuccino is rich and creamy and a delicious morning or afternoon pick-me-up. Keto Cappuccinos are easy to make with a few simple steps. Adjust the taste to your liking by adding more or less cacao powder and the sweetness with more or less erythritol or Keto Syrup.
What's the Difference between a Cappuccino and Latte? A traditional cappuccino has an even distribution of espresso, steamed milk, and foamed milk. A latte has more steamed milk and a light layer of foam. A cappuccino is distinctly layered, while in a latte, the espresso and steamed milk are mixed together.
What is the difference between cacao and cocoa powder? Cacao and cocoa mean the same thing. A cacao bean is a cocoa bean, whether roasted or not. Cocoa powder is made from roasted cacao beans. Cocoa/cacao powder is not the same as drinking chocolate which contains added sugars. Always source natural or Dutch-process cocoa powder.
Can I substitute any ingredients? Make this Keto chocolate cappuccino vegan by substituting whole milk for unsweetened almond milk or another plant-based milk of choice. If you don't have a milk frother, you can skip this step and top it with whipped cream instead!

Step 1
Prepare a half cup of espresso coffee the way you like it. Either instant coffee, in a french press, or from a coffee capsule machine. Set aside.Step 2
Set a small saucepan or milkpan over medium heat; add ⅓ cup almond milk, Keto vanilla syrup, sweetener, and cacao powder. Whisk together to break any lumps and for the sweetener to dissolve. Bring the milk to a rolling simmer, then remove it from the heat.Step 3
Prepare the milk foam by adding the remaining 1/4 cup of milk to a milk frothing machine or using a handheld whisk. Carefully pour the steamed chocolate milk into the coffee. Top with the milk foam and a sprinkle of cacao to finish. If you don't have a milk frother, you can enjoy it without or top it with whipped cream instead for an indulgent treat.
