Keto Teriyaki Sauce

5 ratings

Salty, sticky, and a little sweet - teriyaki sauce can make anything taste better! Teriyaki sauce is stewed with fresh garlic and grated ginger root for a savory, deep flavor. You can use this sauce to cook your Asian inspired dishes in, or simply use as a tasty dipping sauce!

I think it is important what soy sauce you pick. Mine turned out terrible and looking online at other teriyaki recipes they all have a lot of water and a lot less soy sauce.

I sub the stevia for monk fruit & it’s delicious 😋

If we sub the stevia for liquid stevia or swerve will it affect the carb count? 1 carb per tablespoon is a bit too much if I am using this to toss stir fried veggies in it. Any suggestions

Liquid stevia can be used to cut down on carbs, but your sauce won't thicken as much. If you're using the sauce for cooking stir fry, however, it's still usable.

Can swerve be substituted for the stevia? No sure if it will affect the flavor.

How long does this last in the refrigerator?

Hi there, if kept in an airtight container, the teriyaki sauce should last up to the expiration date on the soy sauce you use in the recipe. However, a safe rule of thumb may be 30 days in the refrigerator for freshness. Hope this helps!

To make this gluten free could you just use GF soy sauce? Is there anything else in it with gluten?

Just the soy sauce would have gluten!

I wonder if it would be good with coconut aminos. That’s gluten free and I often use it in place of soy sauce. Braggs coconut aminos
