A dough is prepared by mixing almond flour, xanthan gum, and water. It is rolled out, sliced into “fries,” brushed with oil, and air-fried until golden and crispy.

You can eat these fries as a side to amazing Low-Carb dishes like Keto lettuce wrapped lamb burgers or Keto bacon wrapped chicken thighs. You can also make loaded fries by topping them with bacon, cheese, tomatoes, chives jalapenos, etc.

What if you don’t have an air fryer?

Not having an air fryer shouldn’t stop you from having these delicious fries. You can deep fry them in 2 inches of vegetable oil for the richest option or bake them at 350F/180C for 10-12 minutes.

    Preheat your air fryer to 400F/200C. To prepare the dough for the Keto fries, mix the almond flour and xanthan gum in a bowl. Pour the hot water slowly using one hand while whisking with the other until the dough comes together.

    Set the bowl aside for 15 minutes. Place the dough between two pieces of oiled parchment paper. Roll it out until ¼ inch thick and slice into thin “fries.”

    Transfer half of the sliced dough pieces to your air fryer. Brush both sides generously with oil. Fry for 6-8 minutes until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining fries.
