Keto Asian Salad with Sesame Dressing

37 ratings

This Asian salad is a mean, green, protein machine. There are loads of crunchy goodness going on in this bowl. However, the part that really brings this recipe together is the simple sesame dressing. It’s sweet, tangy, and has a good kick of garlic to boot. The olive oil and vinegar will naturally want to separate, so make sure to stir the dressing well just before drizzling it over your salad. Enjoy!

Has potential with an alternate dressing. Taste wasn’t for me. All I could taste was soy sauce with a hint of ginger and salt.

I substituted sesame oil for olive oil. This is soooo amazingly delicious.

This is a wonderful salad. I used sesame oil for half of the oil and switched the chicken to a thinly sliced pork chop fried in butter. on occasion.

I followed the recipe except used sesame oil and it was absolutely delicious but I would use low sodium soy next time as it was a bit salty.

I only tasted olive oil in the dressing.

Delicious! I did omit some ingredients because I didn’t have them (cabbage and cilantro). Would have given 5 stars but the dressing was too salty so I’d adjust it next time I make this.

Loved it! I had leftover mixed greens and added some romaine. I also used low sodium soy sauce in the dressing. Not salty at all. Cooked the chicken in lime juice and cilantro with a little olive oil. Will be having this again.

Use half of soy sauce. Used sesame oil instead of sesame seed, avocado oil and cilantro paste. Cant wait to eat it again

Agree about the soy sauce - way too much. Half would be sufficient. Otherwise very nice.

Delicious, filling, and crunchy. I like the saltiness. I use avocado oil instead of olive. I probably eat this salad at least 3 times a week.

I LOVED this salad. It was so flavorful and filling. Most Keto salads I've been trying are a bit bland. I'm Asian so I'm used to the saltiness from soy sauce. Next time I will try it with a dash of sesame oil. Ten stars if I could.

Awesome! Made for lunch meal prep for the week. Changed dressing a bit based on reviews, namely less soy and added sesame oil. Also added some heat to dressing. Seasoned chicken with lime and cilantro while cooking.

The Asian salad dressing was way too salty due to the soy cause. I added 2 teaspoons of Swerve Brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon of Sesame oil. It was delicious!! Will definitely make again.

I didn’t love this. Overall was way too much of a soy sauce flavor, it was a bit overwhelming. If I were to make it next time I’d cut out a decent chunk of the soy sauce. Don’t hate it, but probably won’t make again.
