Keto Masala Sirloin w Golden Cilantro Rice

Heavily seasoned masala steak is broiled to a nice char with a soft, juicy inside. It is paired with a lightly browned cauliflower rice that is strongly flavored with lime and cilantro. You could add additional fat to this meal by including avocado or a fat-based keto sauce/condiment.

Recipe Steps

  • Step 1

Preheat your oven to a high broil. Lay all the sirloin tip on a sheet tray lined with aluminum foil. Cover the steak with the first amounts of salt and pepper, garlic, garam masala, coriander seed, and first amount of olive oil.
    Step 1
  • Step 2

Set the tray under your broiler for 15 minutes. Allow the steak to rest temporarily after cooking. Pour any liquid that may have collected into a bowl set aside.
    Step 2
  • Step 3

Use a pair of forks or a knife and tongs to thinly slice and shred your steak. The thinner the slices the better.
    Step 3
  • Step 4

Set the sliced steak into your bowl with the excess liquid and squeeze in the first amount of lime juice. Stir the ingredients together to get the steak coated in all the liquid.
    Step 4
  • Step 5

In a pan over high heat, cook the cauliflower rice with the second amount of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Cook until the rice turns a light brown/golden color, reducing the heat to avoid burning.
    Step 5
  • Step 6

With the heat on low, stir the cilantro and second amount of lime juice into the rice. Cook until all ingredients are heated together.
    Step 6
  • Step 7

Each serving should have approx. 2 ¾ oz rice and 4 oz masala steak. Enjoy!
