  • Step 1

    Add the green beans to a pan of boiling water and simmer for 4-5 minutes until just tender. Drain completely.

    Add the chili flakes, sesame oil, salt, pepper and lemon juice to a small bowl and mix to combine.
  • Step 3

    Heat the olive oil in a skillet over a low/medium heat. Thinly slice the garlic and add to the pan, sweating until tender. Add the green beans and toss to combine.

    Add the chili, lemon and sesame oil mixture and stir fry for a minute or so until the beans are hot through.

    Toss the spicy beans with the toasted sesame seeds to serve.

    Olive oil in ingredient list should be changed to sesame oil.
