  • Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and lightly grease an oven tray with oil.

    Add the ground almonds to a mixing bowl with all of the dried spices and seasonings. Mix well to combine.

    Liberally coat each chicken thigh all over with tahini.

    Cover each thigh in the spiced breadcrumb mixture, pressing down gently so that it sticks.

    Transfer to the oven for 20-23 minutes to bake or until cooked through and golden brown.

    I should’ve tasted the tahini before I even decided if I wanted to try this. I wasn’t a fan. And it def didn’t remind me of “fried” chicken. My husband who is doing keto with me “didn’t mind” it. But he didn’t ask for it again either.
