Tamari sauce

Shaoxing Rice Wine
2 tbsp
Chinese broccoli
6 oz
Chicken Bone Broth
1 qt
Water
2 cup
Arrowroot Powder/ Starch
1.5 tbsp
Cilantro
1 cup
Ginger
1.5 tbsp
Tamari sauce
1.5 tbsp

Step 1
Place the ground beef in a medium-sized mixing bowl. Add in 2 tablespoons of Shaoxing wine and 1 ½ tablespoons of tamari. Stir well to combine. Set the mixture aside.Step 2
Wash the Chinese broccoli well. Trim the ends, then slice the broccoli into thin slices cut on a bias. Set aside.Step 3
Fill a medium saucepan with the chicken broth and the water. Add the arrowroot powder and whisk well to combine. Bring to a boil. Do not bring the mixture to a boil before you add the arrowroot, or it will clump together.Step 4
Add in the meat mixture. Stir well to combine. Add the minced ginger and cook until the meat is no longer pink.Step 5
Add in the Chinese broccoli and cook until just cooked through but still has texture. Season the soup with a tablespoon of tamari. Then add in the cilantro right before serving.
