A delicious Keto strawberry "milkshake" that's also dairy-free and vegan? Yes, please! This recipe is prepared using frozen strawberries, coconut milk, and sweetener. Low-carb silken tofu is added to this smoothie, resulting in a creamy and decadent drink that will get you hooked.

Can you use firm tofu for this Keto pudding?

Unfortunately, no. Firm tofu is chewy and yields a crumbly and grainy texture when blended. Silken tofu, on the other hand, has higher water content, making it smooth and rich. Silken tofu is perfect for many Keto-friendly recipes, including desserts, dips, spreads, salad dressings, and sauces.

Can you use a different sweetener?

We have added a little bit of Swerve to this Keto milkshake, however, you can add any other sweetener you desire. Another option would be sugar-free maple-flavored syrup for a caramel kick. You can adjust the level of sweetener to taste or omit it entirely if preferred. If desired, add a little cinnamon or vanilla extract, adjusting quantities to taste as needed.

Is silken tofu healthy?

Even though silken tofu is a processed product, it has its benefits. Silken tofu is low-carb and high in plant protein, making it an excellent option for vegans and vegetarians. It is also a great source of iron, calcium, and fiber. So having it in moderation is potentially good for you.

    9.5g Net Carbs isn't all that bad IF it's loaded with Fats and Proteins. This would be a better Keto recipe if it had a scoop of 2g NC vegan protein powder and a TBS of MCT oil. Nearly 10 NC is a lot to give up when you're not gaining any Fats or Proteins with it.

        Me too. I'm shocked at how many recipes on here are called keto with carb counts like this.
