Really liked this the first time then swapped cheddar for 2oz chilli cheese and had 1 (so 1/2 serving) with keto coleslaw (without the bacon) delicious. Freeze in greaseproof paper and they cook perfect in the oven

Done today, they're very good but release a lot of melted fat. Should I eat it or leave as it is?

Tried it with the Impossible ground "meat" instead of the beef. Really great result and extra tasty :) I think I was a little shy with the salt, but the taste was delicious. Next time I will add cheddar, this time I had gruyere and parmesan.

A quick sear in a pan helps to seal the juices in. Really enjoyed this

Ok so I'm confused with this recipe you have to make 4 patties and you have to eat 2 of them?

It's because it's a stuffed burger. You make seperate patties and then put the cheese between and press them together. That's why 8=4 and 4=2

I agree! That's just freakin' stupid!! One burger should be one complete burger.

You make 8 patties. In 4 of them you add the cheese in middle and use the remaining 4 to cover them. In total 4 burgers. Total are 2 servings (2 burgers for 1 serving)

I don’t knowing anyone else had this problem but my cheese oozed out so there was none on the inside of the burger when done and I did crimp the patties all around the patties. Think I’ll try slices of cheddar next time instead of grated and see how that goes. Other than that the flavor was good.
