I made this using impossible meat and it was so tasty!

I made it using ras el anout spices ( blend of coriander, cinnamon, cumin, ginger,turmeric,etc..) to make it taste like a typical Mediterranean dish. It turned out to be really good.

Wow. So good. It feels like eating Goulash but without the pasta. I did add pasta for my fiancé though. This is gonna be a staple, for sure ❤️!

Looks delicious what would serve with it on the side

Doesn’t need a side with keto. The perceived need for a side is just conditioning to think that way. Another way to look at it is that your “side” is mixed into the meat: olives, bell peppers, celery etc.

Made this dish tonight, it was delicious! I’m a Keto beginner and half Cuban, my Cuban dad even loved it!

Too spicy for my liking (I will use less cayenne next time) but otherwise great flavor. We used more broth than called for as my husband likes a lot of sauce. Will definitely make again!

This is not Cuban. We don’t cook with cayenne pepper or cilantro — you are mixing cultures.

So true, garlic and cumin are the go to spices.

This is actually a general Latin American dish... But this recipe is more like what I’ve had in Mexico. We add serranos instead of cayenne... and I use ground turkey instead of beef.

It says in the description it's a take on the Cuban dish. Meaning, it's not Cuban but inspired by it. There are also several dishes that resemble this in other cultures. Nothing wrong with mixing it up. Why do you think Asian fusion is so popular?

Very good. Lots of flavor. Easy to make. Used freshly ground cumin for a burst of flavor. Also very aromatic. Topped w sharp cheddar n squeeze of lemon.

What kind of canned tomato? Chopped, sauce, diced? What’s best?
