Do you have to use the coconut oil? My husband doesn't like coconut
Chicajen68 3 years ago
try using refined coconut oil. There is not a coconut flavor if it is refined.

I will be trying it

Coconut was the dominant flavor in these, and the cherries were almost non-existent. I used weight when adding all the ingredients and as specified, the coconut oil was liquid and just about room temperature. Maybe there is a difference in how strong different oils are in flavor? I wonât make these again when there are so many other recipes to give a shot.

Donât use extra virgin coconut oil if yon donât like coconut flavor. Tropical Traditions Expellar Pressed Coconut oil is steam deodorized so there is no taste or scent of coconut and this is the only one I will use in food. You can use the other as a body lotionâit removes brown spots on the skin from previously infested oxidized seed oils.
