Easy Keto Vanilla Coffee Creamer
This vanilla flavored coffee creamer takes your homemade Keto coffee to another level. It is rich, buttery, and delicious enough to make you want to pour it on everything. This Keto coffee creamer uses only 4 ingredients and can be prepared in 15 minutes. All you need to do is whisk all the ingredients together in a saucepan and simmer the mixture for 10 minutes, and voila.
You can use this creamer in any Keto coffee recipe to substitute heavy cream or plant-based milk. Use it in mochas, Frappuccinos, or ice coffees for a more decadent and flavorful coffee drink.
Can you make this coffee creamer without dairy?
Yes, you can. Just swap the heavy cream for coconut milk and the butter for vegan butter or cocoa butter. The dairy-free creamer has a thinner consistency than that with dairy, but it is just as delicious. A downside to making this recipe using coconut milk is that the creamer is more likely to split if it's too cold and the coffee is too hot. Let the dairy-free creamer warm to room temperature before pouring it into hot coffee or use it in iced coffee.
How long will it last in the fridge?
This sugar-free coffee creamer will last for 4-5 days in the fridge. If you can't use all of it within that time, you can prepare half the recipe.
Why not use store-bought coffee creamer?
Other than the fact that most coffee creamers in the market aren't Keto-friendly, almost all contain preservatives. Making your coffee creamer from scratch allows you to control the quality and quantity of ingredients to your liking.
Can you flavor this Keto creamer with something other than vanilla?
Absolutely! If you don't like vanilla or would like to try new flavors, just replace the vanilla extract with any flavor you prefer. Some options include hazelnut extract, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, or caramel.
