Ingredients
Cocoa Powder, Unsweetened
1-½ tablespoon
Maple Flavored Syrup by Lakanto
1-½ tablespoon
Water
1-¼ tablespoon
Vanilla Extract
1 teaspoon
Cinnamon, Ground
1 teaspoon
Coconut Oil
1 tablespoon
Hazelnuts Or Filberts
¾ cup, whole
Salt, Sea Salt
⅛ teaspoon

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and line a shallow oven tray with baking paper.Step 2
Arrange the hazelnuts across the tray and bake for 10-12 minutes to loosen the skin.Step 3
Rub the skins from the hazelnuts.Step 4
Add the hazelnuts to a food processor along with the cocoa powder, vanilla, cinnamon and salt. Blend to combine, forming a fine crumb.Step 5
Add the coconut oil and blend again until smooth.Step 6
Add the syrup, blend and then add the water, until you have a thick and smooth spread.
